About Allie

When Allie was four, she taught herself to read. She finished her first novel when she was thirteen, about the time she discovered a love for studying and nurturing the intricacy of humanity. Now she mixes both interests into stories of vivid cultures and multi-layered characters where readers are inspired to seek truth, refine their character, and live with boldness. When she’s not psychoanalyzing her friends and family, you can find her slinging coffee at her local coffeeshop, poring over her Bible trying (unsuccessfully) to figure out God, or dreaming up yet another ambitious hobby to squeeze into her schedule.

Story Values

Four principles that guide every story I write

Culture
Character
Excellence
Depth

From religion to economy to history, cultures are the color in our world. My worlds will not skimp on culture development and how that affects characters.

Fantasy is a voyage of wonder, but it should also give the reader food for thought.

From the structure level down to the prose, stories should be crafted with skill and beauty.

People are beautifully intricate. I explore the many layers that make up a person to create realistic, relatable characters.
